Wedgewood Pines golf course first opened for play in 1997. The course was designed by Tom Devane.

Wedgewood Pines golf course was cut out of forest and is surrounded by beautiful, mature trees. The fairways are dogleg configurations and some of the greens are undulating. Water hazards and bunkers also come into play throughout the design.

Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6,769 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,121 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 543 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 7, a par-3 that plays to 160 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 1, a 435 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Wedgewood Pines Country Club is # 13, a 208 yard par-3.
